Cliff’s Family

I had the pleasure of photographing this crew in Antigonish, just before they left to go back to Boston.  They were a whole lot of fun.  Cliff had a vintage portrait of his mother that we were trying to replicate by using algorithms that mimic old school wet film like Kodak’s Portia 160.  I’ve come to really enjoy taking family portraits.  I like taking individuals separately and getting to quickly know their personalities, and then throwing them all together for a group shot where I enjoy how everyone interacts together.  It’s a good feeling to create images that a family will treasure for years to come.
