Ernie Porter – Family Portrait

I had the pleasure of photographing Ernie Porter last June, when the Chronicle Herald contacted me for a photograph of Ernie to accompany an article about him in the Halifax newspaper.  When he contacted me to be his photographer for family portraits here in Antigonish as an anniversary present for his wife, I couldn’t refuse.  It was great having an opportunity to meet his two sons, and we all had a lot of fun moving around his Antigonish property in Lanark.  His sons also had some friends visiting, and asked that they all be photographed together.  They really liked how the images they saw on the back of the camera made them looked famous.  I agreed, pointing out that it looked like a promotional still from a reality TV show.
